About Us

The Beachfront Resort Motel and Dock’s Beach House Restaurant, a Fitzgerald family owned and operated complex, is located just north across the drawbridge from the Jet Express in downtown Port Clinton on Lakeshore Drive. The motel and restaurant were purchased by Ed Fitzgerald in late summer 2010. Both the motel and restaurant underwent major remodeling and updating in the off season. Dock's Beach House restaurant is a finalist for the prestigious Chamber of Commerce Beautification Award for 2012.

The motel features an angled lake view from every room or suite, including free wireless internet in rooms and even on the beach! The newly remodeled Dock’s Beach House resataurant reopened Memorial Day weekend 2011 as a premier lakefront restaurant, offering friendly staff, quick service, and great food, featuring some of the areas finest steaks and seafood, including fresh Lake Erie Perch prepared with our secret recipe! Open seasonally, Dock’s also has live entertainment most Thursday’s through Sunday’s. Join us on our private beach, where you can bring your cocktail (procured from Dock's) right on the beach! Dock's is a great place to see familiar faces, meet new friends, or to even have a drink with Ed himself.
